I just figured out how to get this online!
This is the Schneider-Farris Family's Blog. Keep up with what we are doing by logging into this site regularly! (The reason this site is called "Tragedy and Triumph" is that when I first founded this site, my husband, Dan, had been in a horrible accident, and he recovered. His recovery was a miracle! Go back to the 2005 archives to read our story.)

Broadmoor Skating Club Bulletin Board
The Broadmoor Skating Club takes the time to recognize the club's skaters and their achievements. Rebekah and Joel were included in December of 2008 and January of 2009. I decided to take a photo of that special recognition for our memories! This was just so special!

We Had a Special Treat - Tai Babilonia!
I began figure skating in the 1960s! When I was a little girl, my family skated at Culver City Ice Arena. One of the many skaters at "our rink" was a little girl named Tai Babilonia. Tai went on to be a world and national pair skating champion.
Over New Year's Day weekend 2009, Tai came to Colorado to mentor U.S. National Pair skating champions, Keauna McLaughlin and Rockne Brubaker. I got asked to write an article about Tai's trip for IceNetwork.com!
The children were thrilled to meet Tai and we took many photos. Here's one of my favorites.
