Usually I write out paragraphs and paragraphs detailing what I did each year around New Year's Day, but this time I did so much, that I am just going to list some highlights of 2019. It makes me exhausted just remembering all that went on in 2019, and this isn't even all of it....
January
- Dan and Jo Ann second honeymoon-like trip to San Francisco - stayed in Lainie Monsef's great Airbnb!
- John Coughlin suicide
- Trip to Chicago during 50 below deep freeze to see Joel and our friend Lyman and Mary and skated on the Chicago Ice Ribbon!
- Daddy's back started hurting a lot and he stopped driving

February
- Family ski trip Copper Mountain and Frisco around President's Day
- Ski trip Park City, Utah with Rebekah and stayed with wonderful host Joanne Rupinskas - late February

- Dan's brother Mike heart attack - trip to Long Beach to see him and he is OK!
- Grandpa’s back surgery March 19, 2019 (herniated disc removed)
- Grandpa’s 90th birthday 3/24/19
- Grandpa saw my niece Phoebe perform in Disney On Ice in Colorado Springs on his birthday and watched her rehearse two days after his surgery!
- Quick trip to Kansas City with Dan to see Joel perform in Disney On Ice Mickey's Search Party
April
- Dan and Jo Ann celebrate 40 years of marriage on April 7, 2019!
- Jo Ann visits Annabelle in Israel with our friend Larisa
- Daddy forgets he ever had a hurting back and surgery while Jo Ann is away!
May
- Visit with Tom and Lori McHugh and ice dancing with Tom McHugh in Connecticut
- Joel home on break from show in Colorado second half of May
June

- Reunited after over like 40 years with Kimberly Thompson who was in my art class in 1978-79! (I didn't know she was a skater.)

- Dan's mom has a heart attack and is okay - she's 95 years old!

- Trip to World Figure Championship and Mountain scootering down Vail mountain!

- Jo Ann picked out of audience of 10,000 people to play Miguels's guitar!
- Spent month in California while Joel performs
- Safari on Catalina Island with Joel
- Reunited with Josh and Gina Moss (hadn't seen one another face to face for over 25 years!)
- Grama Farris and Uncle Mike Get to see Joel in Disney On Ice Mickey's Search Party in Long Beach 12-28-19
