I am so sad. First The Broadmoor shut down the Broadmoor Ski Area and then they closed the old Broadmoor World Arena legendary ice skating rink. Then they took away the Strawberry Fields Open Space.
The idea that the hotel may close the historic Pikes Peak Cog Railway forever is the saddest thing I've ever heard.
This is the Schneider-Farris Family's Blog. Keep up with what we are doing by logging into this site regularly! (The reason this site is called "Tragedy and Triumph" is that when I first founded this site, my husband, Dan, had been in a horrible accident, and he recovered. His recovery was a miracle! Wonderful Walk at Garden of the Gods With My First Skating Partner's Family 3-13-18
Every visit to Colorado should include a walk at the Garden of the Gods! My first skating partner, Corey Isenberg, and his wife Susan, son Matt, and grand-daughter Morgan really enjoyed going there with me and Dan during their short visit to Colorado!

Rebekah and I climbed a mountain yesterday and skied down. Annabelle skied down “like 20 times!” I then hiked up the mountain again with my ski scooter and scootered down!
