This is the Schneider-Farris Family's Blog. Keep up with what we are doing by logging into this site regularly! (The reason this site is called "Tragedy and Triumph" is that when I first founded this site, my husband, Dan, had been in a horrible accident, and he recovered. His recovery was a miracle! We Had a Special Treat - Tai Babilonia!

I began figure skating in the 1960s! When I was a little girl, my family skated at Culver City Ice Arena. One of the many skaters at "our rink" was a little girl named Tai Babilonia. Tai went on to be a world and national pair skating champion.

Over New Year's Day weekend 2009, Tai came to Colorado to mentor U.S. National Pair skating champions, Keauna McLaughlin and Rockne Brubaker. I got asked to write an article about Tai's trip for IceNetwork.com!

The children were thrilled to meet Tai and we took many photos. Here's one of my favorites.
