Joel returned to the USA from Japan on September 27, 2016. He'd been there for three months and had a trip of a lifetime! When he returned, the plane was late, so he he missed his connection back to Colorado, so he stayed in Long Beach with family for a few days It was good for him to see his Grama, cousins, uncle, and aunt, grandpa, and his mom!

After a long, long nap to catch up on sleep, Joel went out to dinner with Grama, Uncle Mike, Aunt Sandy, his mom, and his Grandpa:
The next day, he went swimming and kayaking!
On the last day in Long Beach, we stopped by Grama's house to say good-bye and Joel played Sandy's beautiful piano a bit.
Then it was out to lunch together!
Just before we headed to the airport, Joel got to see his cousins Cody and Mia by the pool!
