We are going to be out of town for the next Broadmoor Skating Club test session, so Joel took his Novice Moves in the Field test today at Colorado College.
He did a great job! He skated great and passed by all three judges with very high marks.
Ryan Jahnke couldn't be there, so Linda Alexander coached Joel from the sidelines.
Anyway, I am very proud of Joel. This was a ...good test and it shows how good he is at skating skills due to all his ice dance and pair skating experience.
Linda also did a fantastic job with Joel today.
Thank you Ryan and Linda and congrats to Joel!
I'm a very proud mom. He's come a long way since the days he skated around the mall rink on ice hockey skates!
This is the Schneider-Farris Family's Blog. Keep up with what we are doing by logging into this site regularly! (The reason this site is called "Tragedy and Triumph" is that when I first founded this site, my husband, Dan, had been in a horrible accident, and he recovered. His recovery was a miracle!
