We didn't have a lot of money. Also I wanted Dan to see Colorado Springs. It just seemed natural to go to Colorado and stay in the condo my family owned near the Broadmoor Hotel.
The condo had an indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna. The setting was perfect.
Most young couples spend their honeymoon alone, but I took Dan to visit my friends in Colorado Springs. We went to the Broadmoor World Arena and I introduced him to the skaters I trained with. He met my friends from Colorado College.
We had a wonderful time!
